Gentlemen Of The Road

Tonight I went to the Mumford & Sons concert in London. To summarize it using just one word I would say: energy.

There’s a lot of energy in the air, both from the stage and from the public. If you know M&S songs, you know that they are full of instrumental-only section where they simply jam. When you hear to those section live, you immediately understand why the band is together: they have a lot of fun while playing.

On stage you realize that those songs could very probably be the result of some improvisation and if you didn’t know the original song at all you would say that they were improvising on stage.

The public responded in a great way to this wave of energy. We sang along the artists, we jumped and danced with them. It was great, really great fun!

If you have the opportunity go see them live. In the meanwhile, check this video I recorded. It’s “I Will Wait”, the first single from their second album “Babel”.

Enjoy!
